Loads Over 24 ft. wide
Each DOTD district office responsible for maintaining the state highways and bridges along the proposed travel route for any loads over 24 feet wide must be contacted by the hauler at least five (5) working days prior to the anticipated movement date. Once all potential problems with hazards, obstructions, etc. along the route have been discussed and resolved, the district offices must then notify the Truck Permit Office. The Truck Permit Office will not issue a permit for the move until verification has been received from all of the affected district offices.
