History Back     ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURES AND PENALTIES Twin Trailer Combinations, Trailers and Towed Vehicles, Farm Vehicles and Equipment and Care of Vehicle/Loads If a vehicle, combination of vehicles, or load violates Louisiana law or DOTD regulation for twin trailer combinations, trailers and towed vehicles, farm vehicles and equipment or care of vehicle loads, the penalty will be: $100.00 ANY OWNER OR DRIVER WHO DISAGREES WITH A PENALTY OR THE ENFORCEMENT OF THESE LAWS MUST GIVE THE OFFICER NOTICE TO PROTEST THE VIOLATION TICKET.
