Interstate Exempt
        To operate Interstate exempt For-Hire Transportation in Louisiana, for-hire carriers must register by paying a $25 one-time filing fee, file Form A-1, insurance Form E (liability) and Form H (cargo) , and an agent of process and carry on board each vehicle a Louisiana Identification (Bingo) Stamp at a cost of $10.00 each and affixed to a Uniform Cab Card (Form D-1). Annual stamp year begins February 1 each year. Orders for the forthcoming year will be accepted beginning October 1 through January 31.

        The cost of each card is $0.50. Small quantities may be requested from the LPSC.

        Note: If a carrier holds both Intrastate and Interstate regulated authority, the annual SSRS Registration Receipt will be acceptable for both operations. If carriers hold Intrastate authority and also operates as an exempt carrier, the identification (bingo) stamp will also be valid for both operations.
